Did you know that 8% of greenhouse gases heating the planet are caused by food waste.
Bare Pantry wants to help fight the fight against food waste in Australia too. If any of our products go past their ‘best before’ date and are perfectly safe to eat after this date, we will donate them to OzHarvest.
As a consumer, we also suggest you follow OzHarvest's easy tips to avoid food waste in your own home:
- Before you start shopping, check your fridge, freezer and pantry to see what ingredients you have and which ones need to be used up.
- Know the difference between 'best before' and use-by'
- Plan your meals for the week

Jars and bottles are washed in a commerical dishwasher with earth friendly dishwashing liquid and rinsed at high temperatures.
