Australian Freekeh


Australian grown freekeh (pronounced free-kuh), sourced from Mount Zero Olives in Victoria.

The grains are pale green/brown in colour, with a rich, nutty, smoky flavour. A great addition to soups, stews and salads or even use as a stuffing

How to use: rinse thoroughly first, then add to boiling water or stock (1 part freekeh to 4 parts water). Cover and simmer for 35 - 45 minutes or until tender. Feel free to add more water during the cooking time if needed. Rinse after cooking.

Ingredients: durum wheat.
