Grown and made in Australia, this carob powder is made from pods (not seeds) grown on carob trees This carob powder is roasted, NOT raw.
How to use: To substitute cocoa powder for carob powder in a recipe, simply use the same amount of carob. You can choose to reduce other sweeteners by roughly one quarter, as carob has a naturally mild sweet flavour.
To substitute chocolate with carob, use approximately 3 tablespoons of carob powder in place of each square of chocolate
