Ingredients: pearl barley, split peas, mung beans, lentils
How to use: pre-soak, then rinse and drain. Add to a pot of cold water/stock (1 part to 5 parts liquid). Bring to the boil and then turn down to simmer until cooked (approx. 35 minutes).
Feel free to add other vegetables during the cooking process. Otherwise drain cooked soup mix from cooking liquid and add to already prepared soups.
